Today London based Pop-Rockers "The Other Ones"release their amazing 3 track mini-EP 'Picking Up The Pieces'. Click the pic below to listen!

This EP was recorded by Matt Hill at 3Sixtystudios and mixed by me!

It's great to hear how the band have stepped up their songwriting game. "Get Your Hands Off Me" combines the bands modern pop-rock sensibilities with a huge punk feel, like the Ramones/Culture Abuse and Hole all in one!

All the three tracks are different in their own way, the title track "Picking Up The Pieces" has a very 80's post punk feel to it, so of course I just had to chuck in an 80s gated snare and fuck loads of chorus all over the guitars, aspects that I just love from that era of music. The EP on the whole was so much fun to mix, congratulations to the band on the release! I am very much looking forward to working on the forthcoming album from them :)
